Parking is difficult in the narrow streets. A residents' permit is required, and street parking is limited. Those without a car will notice little of this. Everything is within walking or cycling distance.

Culturally, the Cereolfabriek stands out, a former industrial complex that now offers space to creative entrepreneurs. Houtzaagmolen De Ster is on the edge of the neighborhood and is one of the few preserved industrial windmills in the Netherlands. Throughout the neighborhood, you'll find street art and murals.

Green spaces are available along the banks of the Merwedekanaal. For larger parks, you can go to the nearby Oog in Al or Leidsche Rijn.

Lombok is popular. The district attracts young professionals, starters, students, and expats. Homes go quickly, especially smaller apartments and studios. If you want to rent here, you need to respond quickly and have documents ready.
