Daily amenities are limited. Nobelhorst has a school, a GP, and a hairdresser. For supermarkets and a wider range of shops, you drive to Almere Stad or Almere Buiten. That's the trade-off: maximum peace and space, but less convenience within walking distance.

Almere Hout is not for those who want urban amenities within walking distance. There is no train station, no large shopping center, and no horeca around the corner. You are dependent on a car for almost everything outside the home.

The rental housing supply is very limited. Most residents own their homes. Those who want to rent here must be patient and search broadly. When something comes on the market, it goes quickly.
