Why Your Report Helps

At HousingMatchers, we do everything we can to keep our listings clean. We scan thousands of properties, but sometimes something slips through. Your vigilance is invaluable: you help us correct errors and protect other home seekers from disappointment or scams.

When is the Best Time to Report?

Raise the alarm if you see any of these things:

• Suspicion of fraud - Strange payment requests (such as paying in advance without a viewing) or pressure to decide very quickly.
• The facts are incorrect - The number of rooms is wrong, the text is misleading, or the property doesn't exist.
• Already rented - The property has been gone for a long time but is still listed online as available.
• Photos look fake - The images don't match the description or seem stolen from another site.
• Strange rent price - A price that is far too low (or bizarrely high) for what you get, without good reason.
• Duplicate ad - You see the same property appear multiple times through different accounts.
• Offensive content - Discriminatory texts or language that is completely unacceptable.

What Happens After Your Report?

1. Immediately received - We will let you know right away that your report has been received (if you leave your email address).
2. We'll investigate - Our team will review your report, usually within 24 to 48 hours.
3. Priority for fraud - Reports of scams are given immediate priority.
4. Action - Is your report accurate? Then we will take the ad offline. In cases of serious deception, we will block the advertiser.
5. Feedback - Do you want to know the outcome? We will keep you informed of the action we have taken.

Your Privacy is Safe

• We never tell the advertiser who made the report.
• You can also report anonymously (although we won't be able to keep you updated then).
• We use your data only for this report, so no spam or marketing.
