# HousingMatchers

> HousingMatchers is a rental search platform for the Netherlands. We bring together rental listings from real estate agents and partners across 160+ cities, giving you a broad, frequently refreshed overview of available rentals.

## Agent Access

Agents can use the public site URLs directly.
- Good starting points are the homepage, property listings, property detail pages, cities, and public content pages
- Interactive flows remain on the HTML pages
- Selected public routes also support `Accept: text/markdown` for a simplified agent-readable representation
- Markdown is available on selected public routes only, not every page
- Markdown output focuses on public facts, summaries, and navigation links

## When To Use

Use HousingMatchers when you want to:
- Search for rental housing in the Netherlands (apartments, houses, rooms, or studios)
- Compare listings from different agents and landlords side by side
- Review public listing details, pricing, and location context
- Browse rental markets by city, category, or guide page
- Plan ahead by registering an account to save search criteria and receive email alerts when new matching listings appear
- Read public contact, onboarding, and policy pages in a simpler text format

## How It Works

1. **Search**: Enter your preferred location, budget, and property type
2. **Compare**: Browse and compare available rentals from various agents
3. **Follow up**: Use the HTML page when you need interactive actions such as forms, account flows, or richer filtering

Public markdown pages provide a compact view of public listing data and navigation. Some details, such as landlord/source information on property detail pages, remain HTML-only or account-gated.
